does anyone know how i can dispose of my christmas tree, other than put it in the brown recycling bin which i havent got. cant really take it to the tip either as it would make a right mess of the car and is nine foot tall(didnt really think through the disposal thing!!)

Well, I would get a saw and cut it into smaller lengths, put them into garden refuse sacks, which you could fit into your car, and then take it to the tip!
