I have no further info about this or even how true it is, but its worth noting for people in that area.
CROSS POSTING FROM A NEWS SITE - Warning to Dog Owners Using the
Wirral Way in Neston.
A reader writes to warn fellow dog-owners to be on their guard:
"My beloved dog died in a tortuous manner yesterday after finding
poison on Wirral way which has presumably been put down yet again to
try to rid the area of foxes. My vet advises me that this is the
second case that he has seen in recent weeks.
I am very upset and angry about the death of a healthy animal and, to
top it all, this happened to my other dog last year however
fortunately in that case it was not critical.
Dog owners please be wary on the stretch of the Wirral Way between
Parks Field and Cottage Lane.
If the person
who has put the poison down reads this then please desist.
