Do you, like the name suggests, need a bike licence to be able to legally ride a road legal quad bike?
Also, do you have to wear a helmet at all times?
Any info appreciated

Don't need a helmet on anything with more than two wheels, and as far as I know a car licence is enough to ride one.

The rules vary depending on what the quad is registered as. My Raptor was a TRACTOR believe it or not therefore only had to meet the road regulations of 1928 or somit like that but the newer quads cannot be registered as tractors anymore and have to go through the S.V.A. Tests etc etc.
