I appreciate Ian may be very old but is he actually that old?

You probably know that Ian isn't very old but I think we all understand what was meant by the original post.

Nice picture Pablo. It still gets pretty rough down there at times, I think but I've not seen it like that. The parade still looks the same. I wonder if the clock is still there? (is it a clock or a pub sign?)

Must be a pub. That's Albert Tatlock outside looking to wet his whistle.

He'd best get in quick before more than his whistle gets wet... seeyu

It's a pub sign, on the Red Lion -
Red Lion 1939
Red Lion 1962

and yes, the sign is still there!

Well, that's our Parkgate sure enough but Google thinks it's in Ireland.

That's odd - my Google has it most definitely in England! Cheshire West and Chester to be precise...

When I click on the link, I get, in the left-hand pane:
Parkgate, Antrim BT39. The pic in the right-hand pane is our Parkgate.
If I click on the address in the left pane, I first get an aerial of our Parkgate, then it changes to a map of Parkgate in Antrim.
