Never heard of Approved Foods. I do like to venture around to Morrisons just prior to closing to capitalise on their unsold 'fresh/cooked in store today for you' range that still perfect after freezing! Got meatballs the other day. Me and thee had a hearty, tasty meal and then so did the kids/ partners the day after too. 7 meals for 50p can't be bad!!

We have not used Approved Foods but they get pretty good reports from all and sundry in the media including Which/BBC/Money Supermarket etc.So should be well worth a try. No doubt as others have said it is often getting to the big supermarkets late on in the evening and get lots of reduced price stuff.
