The nearest I can see is a Paper Wasp, but not even sure if we et them in this country. If we do their sting is quite nasty on a parr with hornets. Don't want to scare you just be careful. Probably wrong anyway. Sure Geekus will come back to you on this with the correct species. The Wise One.

No Wings! Send it to the paranormal site. How strange, maybe you could cover it with a glass for tonight. give it a bit of jam, and chuck it out in the morning by sliding a piece of thin card between the glass and the surface on table. Then just place it outside so it can find a place to hide somewhere. leave the glass out there til it's gone.
