this is my mk6 escort 1.6 16v


mods i have already done:
gti skirts
gti spats
washer jet neons
blue side lightes
m3 wing mirrors
engin colour hose kit
a painted me brake calipers red

mods i want:
ford st220 alloys
gti frount bumper with spot lights
diffrent colour faces 4 me clocks
escort cosworth bonnet vents
bucket seats with harnists (not sure werther 2 get these any more)

a think thats all the mods 4 now but an sure ill want more lol

looks good mate. I suggest changing the LEDS for white ones tho,or removing them altogether,the washer jets are terrible.Clean that engine bay up and it'll be sexual,check my topic to see just how ghood the escort engine bay can look,they can look even better than mine actually,mine needs t-cutting

Give us a shout i have a good camara and can get some good pics up for you if you want a mini photo shoot going.

have u changed back to white sidelights aswell? i recommend.Also i recommend getting to a scrappy/ebay and changing to an Si or Ghia fron oval grille one day,makes it a million times better IMO

honeycomb would look nice.


are going to do much to the power soon?

with respect to power mate dont expect a power increase from the 1.6, so either change the engine (later date) and mod it with crossover stuff,induction exhaust etc or just do backbox and induction and run it til u can afford a better car. Please dont chip it or add cams etc as u'll only gain a few BHP,and cams and chip are a lot of money for no power

scoop i mean engine change, 1.8 130 spec, 2.0zt and the likes.

no i havent changed it bk 2 white side lihts an the honycomb frount grill is the grill i want . n a probily wount do anythink 2 the enin yet a think its powerfull enough 4 now its got a 1.6zt in it bt maby in a fuw years a might get a proper gti or somethink like that.

GTI=waste of insurance money. The Si is the same but without the kit (which u know can be bought for pittence)the leather,and the ABS and much lower ins grp. I recomend a 2.0 swap mate. Wish i'd done it now. Cheap as chips and makes the car "quick" (sub 8.0 to 60)

1.8 is a good engine and with 130 spec its nice,but its cheaper to go 2.0

so ur sayin keep my car an just put a 2.0 in it? an wats the spec on a 2.0

2.0 is 136BHP@5250RPM (or thereabouts) meaning u get 135-136lb/ft of torque so it pulls like a train

i recomend it mate.it only costs a few hundred quid like

mite get that then scoop another thing 2 save up 4 lol
