Hi there  As some of you might know Ste has recently found a kitten in a engine bay at work and brought her home. The kitten is growing well now and starting to fill out. We have a male cat who is round 2,and the kitten is no more than 6 months old,obvs for this reason we don't want baby kittens! Just wondering dose anyone know what's min age that I can get her neuted? As she is wanted to venture out with the older cat and at the moment we haven't let her out. Thank you Sarah

5-6 months I got our boys done... don't know about lady cats though... check with your vet

We had our female spayed when she was very young. 5-6 months old.

No thats true but you can tell if a cat isnt healthy.

A female cat should be neutered (spayed) at around 4 months but can be neutered at any age thereafter. Source

you need to call the vet and ask.
whaen females are in season they act in different ways.
