Is it possible to bar specific mobile phone numbers from being rung from a BT landline?
I've seen BT offer this service and have a complete ban on calling to ALL mobile numbers.

There are small adapters you can buy to plug into the socket and they can be programmed to bar certain numbers.
You can get the home use Solitaire pay phones and with them you can bar all numbers beginning (for example) 07 whilst allowing free access to 01 02 etc, or you could set it to charge for 07 numbers, depends what you are trying to achieve.

BT offered a service for barring all mobile numbers. So, must go and have a look at phones which can bar only certain mobiles, else have a phone with security codes to access the actual phone.

Thanks for the warning Gypsyjune. Kids will do anything to get their own way. Maybe then I'd best get a phone with a security access to dial first.

I thought it was quite smart the kid got around unfair security measures. You can get contracts that offer 700-1000mins, unlimited txt and unlimited data usage for 15 quid a month, why not just get that and have your kid pay for it? simples!

But then the kid would have less money for booze.

Most kids would probably accept that trade off.

Can always mug people for booze money.
