'Morning folks, can anyone recommend reasonably priced dog friendly accommodation in the Lake district? I'm thinking about Bed&Breakfast, guest house or farm house sort of thing, all the hotels I've looked at are very expensive,Ta!

The Damson Dene at Crosthwaite, featured on Channel 4, were dog friendly.

Thanks Poodlepup,I don't want to sound like a cheapskate but at £109 per night for me and Mrs Ludwigvan it's still a bit pricey, looking for something more basic to be honest, definitely don't need a swimming pool and sauna. It looks like a lovely place though.

I think they are all a bit pricey, unless you find a cheap out of season self catering caravan or cottage.

I know it's not the Lake District but we stayed at the Belle Vue Hotel in Llanwrtyd Wells and they allowed pets.
The hotel was a tad old fashioned but it was a lovely few days with plenty to do locally.
