'Morning folks,can anyone recommend reasonably priced dog friendly accommodation in the Lake district? I'm thinking about Bed&Breakfast,guest house or farm house sort of thing,all the hotels I've looked at are very expensive,Ta!

Try The Old Vicarage,ambleside. pool sauna etc was 45 a night last time i stayed there.
Sorry i can't provide a link,don't know how to,but i'm sure you'll find it on google.

Thanks Poodlepup,I don't want to sound like a cheapskate but at 109 per night for me and Mrs Ludwigvan it's still a bit pricey,looking for something more basic to be honest,definitely don't need a swimming pool and sauna.It looks like a lovely place though.

I think they are all a bit pricey,unless you find a cheap out of season self catering caravan or cottage.

I know it's not the Lake District but we stayed at the Belle Vue Hotel in Llanwrtyd Wells and they allowed pets.

The hotel was a tad old fashioned but it was a lovely few days with plenty to do locally.
