i decieded to do boot in stall from wifes mazda 121 saloon
list of items needed

2 10" subs
1 150 watt amp
wiring kit
2 round sheets of clear plastic
MDF
leather covering
seat filler

frist thing i did was to make a template from card of the space i wanted the subs to go

then i copyed that onto the mdf and cut it out

also cuting the hole for the sub at the same time once this was done i test fitted the mdf to the car and fine tuned the mdf for a better fit.
useing the cut mdf i made two over size peices from the seating form and the leather and then started to stapel the leather to the mdf

remebering to cut the hole again for the sub.

How are they retained in place?
What i'm getting at is, dont they fall out going around corners?
Or do they rattle around at all?

Great topic for beginners.

Looks gud but Just to let u know they wont sound good not being boxed. The majority of subs need to be boxed unless they are free air which even some of them need boxes.

yes but a sub to work properly it needs to be in
an enclosed box (sealed box) unless the subs are
free air subs, so for the subs to sound their best u need to follow the manufactures spec for
for cubic centimeters, in the sealed box. good effort tho like the sapce saver box's u can buy, looks good
