is there anyone on here who can cut the claws of a rabbit.
we would take him to the vet but they charge a fortune.

i would've volunteered only had a bit of a bad incident with our bunny just the other week

thank god for google and bunny first aid is all I'm saying



Try your local pet shop, ours does them and i'll be doing this from now on.

he was fine whilst i did the other 9 claws, til i got to the last one

just as i was about to clip it off, he jumped and accidently... needless to say, he had me in a right state

then i was panicking cos i put pressure on his claw and the bleeding didn't seem to be stopping and after a quick google search, all I needed to use was some antiseptic powder and it stopped straight away!!!!

needless to say, after that trauma, I certainly won't be doing it again

Bambi's been fine since and was fine during the incident...I was more traumatised than he was!

can i ask what pet shop you will be taking him too?

Barks Pets on Leasowe Rd, in Wallasey Village.
She told me to nip in with Bambi on Saturdays from 5pm and she'd do it for me as its usually not so busy then.

It only takes her 2 secs to do them!
