my old one been in loft needs new harddrive lead as you have to push lead in if its been moved sometimes but works fine

What size is the LCD mate? And the model of the PC (I'm assuming its a branded model widely available from the registered trademark on the post lol).

i think its 19" widescreen made by hanns-g and the make of the coputer is packard bell

When referring to a megabyte for disk storage, the hard drive manufacturers use the standard that a megabyte is 1,000,000 bytes. This means that when you buy an 250 GB hard drive you will get a total of 250,000,000,000 bytes of available storage. This is where it gets confusing because Windows uses the 1,048,576 byte rule so when you look at the Windows drive properties a 250 GB drive will only yield 232 GB of available storage space.

So it's a 250GB hard drive
