Why haven't they burnt down the dole office, oh yeah, because that would hit them hard.

I have just walked right through Birkenhead, the Sayers and Perfect Home store near the square by Beatties have both been smashed, both are open but the windows are smashed in. The Halifax has also been smashed in as has Iceland. Also the Sayers at the top of town, the Pound Bakery and Ladbrokes and finally MacDonalds which is not opening and seems to have been hit the worst.

Outside Maccies is a gathering of young people with brushes and stuff but there doesn't seem any cleaning is to be done, but good on them for getting together anyway.

What a shame!!

I then walked up Grange Rd West and the grocery store near the bottom has a smashed window but to be honest I am not sure that it's new.
