i found the books a bit slow, but compelling,
i think had i watched the films without reading the books i may have enjoyed it more, but there was so much explanatory information missing from the film that it seemed like half a story

The Dragon Tattoo films were worth seeing for the shock factor. don't think they will be as good if Hollywood does their own version. The girl who played the lead was amazing especially when she gave her abuser s---! Very encouraging for 'Girl Power'
