Lee will do, but i think summer will defo have it Thanks Waddi mate, if you want one and don't get this, give TopUp TV a ring on 0844 842 7690 - we used to throw refurb boxes out with 12 months warranty for about £39, sometimes less, depending on the availability. Let's just say, over the years, we had a LOT of returns due to stupid management choosing to force OTA updates to new versions of software before we had finished developing them!! The final version of software was released some months ago across all boxes and is rock solid. We are no longer developing it, so there is no worries over future stability. TopUp TV will shortly be a linear-only service (Sky Sports, ESPN, GOLD, and the possible addition of Sky Movies and other channels in the future) as we are moving away from push-OD content (no money in it). These boxes are good in that they can provide both OD and linear services.

Indeed, usually the Thomson 6300 models if you buy a 160/250, though the 500GB's should be Vestel T845's of some description (branded as Luxor, Wharfdale, Sharp etc) though you occasionally end up with a Thomson 6021 (the 6300 was never made with 500GB). The 6300's (this box) are essentially the same insides as the Thomson 8210 Sky+ boxes, aside from the tuners. You can thus upgrade the boxes using the same compatible hard drives, I think the max out software can address is ~750GB. Our compression is better than Sky (its VBR instead of CBR), and you get about 85 hours of TV for every 100GB capacity (I think equivalent Sky models give 50 hours per 100GB though you also lose access to a portion of the drive for Sky Anytime).
