me and mates use it now and again when driving around. I was in birkenhead and mate was in west kirby and we had a real good signal.

according to the ofcom web site you can use a two way radio as long as it carnt be used as a bobile phone as well

my handle was xray and my dad was stingray i flicked mine on a few years back and recognised an old voice "rickadonna"(sharron) strait away we use them on the boats now and then now. not many use em any more. ive got one in my van as well, would be nice to see em come back in to use though

I have a fully banded Colt Excalibur homebase similar to the old Ham International Jumbo but with a nice silver front instead of the black. If anyone wants it they go for well over a hundred on ebay plus a lot in postage coz of the weight. If any interest I'll post it in the for sale section with pics and a video of it working smile

I used to have one back in the 70s. handle was sidewinder then hedgehopper (cant remember might have been the other way round) got done by police for not having my whip aerial cliped down
oldman busted

I set mine up in the mobile whilst on route to wales and heard not a peep got to the caravan park and heard loads so wales is still alive so come on guys and gals lets all give cb a revival

Seen a few CB's up for sale at the car boots and at Ellesmere Port tat market, my handle used to be soldering iron, no guesses why wink
