The mechanic who does my car took it to manleys for an mot. Four new 17" Tyres cost me £280. A few weeks later I came round the tight bend by lairds and lost it ending up in a tree! When I picked the car up a few weeks later the bodywork guys said " where the f@@k did you get them cheap sh@te Chinese Tyres from?, because that's probably why you ended up in the tree!" so make your own mind up about manleys

The guy on Laird Street, next to the BP petrol station is quite good...he orders them for you if he hasn't got them in stock.

I have the same tyres on the front of mine - I always order from Blackcircles and have them delivered somewhere local for fitting. Every time I have been and they have asked how much I paid (Blackcircles pay the garage direct to fit) they have said it was cheaper than they buy them in at.

I usually go for Michelin Pilot Sport and find they perform well and last a decent amount of time too.

St James' Tyres?
That's a BP garage now... ?

Also give Tunnel Tyres a ring I've always found them reasonable! smile

It deffo used to be a Shell... but the Shell there, and on the Meols stratch both got taken over by BP/became BP franchises, and the prices went flying up at the same time!! BP should change to RB, the robbing bastads!!
