Calls himself a man - I don't think so

Merseyside Police have charged a 28-year-old man with assault in connection with an incident that led to an 81-year-old woman being injured.

Victor Thurgill, of Wilmer Road, Birkenhead was arrested on Wednesday, December 22nd after allegedly throwing a drinks container at the woman on Derby Road, Birkenhead on December 8th, 2010.

He was subsequently charged him with section 39 assault.

Thurgill will appear in Wirral Magistrates' Court on January 17th

It infuriates me with people today because it is never their fault, there is always an excuse or the blame rests with someone else. If you throw anything out of a moving car you might not want to strike someone but you are reckless as to whether you do so or not. And his pathetic denial has made me more angry because how hard would you have to throw something out of a car to hit someone anyway? Pretty damn hard I suspect. I am glad it wasn't one of my elderly relatives who was hit and I have every sympathy for the old woman because it must have been a terrible shock.

I really don't know why this story has made me so angry.

So it's the Police's fault? Get real you biff, people who "can't stand the Police" are just the type of people who recklessly throw things out of car windows not caring who or what they hit.

They should charge him with littering too!!

Him and his ilk need to learn that for every action, there is a consequence.

It doesn't matter how badly injured she was or not, she's elderly and as such should be allowed to go about their business without getting assaulted by some chavvy little inbreed!!
