I have lots of them that I have acquired over time. I've been adding them to my site. Most are Wallasey but I have a fair few for the Wirral

Acedes cars - that's a new one !

I've quite a few car adverts from the 1920's in various old AA/RAC books. Bean, Clyno, Senechal, Contantinesco, Crossley etc.

Courtesy of Chris Kay, I'm collecting a scanner next week, so hopefully can add a few similar adverts in due course.

I have a feeling that Owen Owen's was next to Allanson's, where the shops were demolished in your other thread "Grange Shopping Centre". Can anyone confirm, or am I completely wrong?

Looking down Grange Road...as the picture shows 'Allansons' is the tall white building in the distance. The building still survives today as Beatties. The Owen Owen advert clearly shows a tall white building next to it...

Of course, I could be completely wrong: come on, some of my fellow old gits.

Fantastic smile

I don't suppose you have anything for the cafe my Husband's family ran in the 1940's-1960's at all.

I posted a link about the cafe a few months ago
