Here we go again. Some retard in the media decided to initiate the "Fuel panic buying" sketch all over again. Gawd help us. Now of course, folk will be "panic buying" every gallon they can get hold of. From what I can see from the news, there have been local shortages and some delays of tanker deliveries due to the road conditions in the UK.

Some numptie says "shortage" and the world and his wife fill everything up to the brim rapido - creating a shortage !

Let commonsense prevail (difficult with some I know). I'm not bothered. I filled up a clean wheelie bin to the brim with unleaded** and it sits in the lounge ready for any eventuality !!

** Don't try this at home kiddies ! It's a joke. Oh Jeez, forget it.

What colour wheelie bin, wouldn't like to get into trouble for using the wrong one.

Good old 2 star. An amusing little fuel. Slight hint of Ethanol but with lasting notes of lightest crude. An ideal accompaniment to an impromptu snack around the fire. Difficult to get now. Luckily I had a couple of bottles laid down a few years back.

You are obviously a man of taste polo_phil !! Not like those peasants on the Brasso or meths - how dreadful !!

Dammit, I'll have to phone the wife and tell her to come back and change the bin before she starts filling up.

I think we'll be ok. We've had hardly any snow between here and Stanlow refinery. I reckon I could just about last till Christmas without filling up my diesel barge anyway.

Wonder what it is price wise in the Cotswolds now. They were hiking prices up in the boom.
