its stupid it should be demolished soon as.there is danger of aspestos (hope i spelt tha ok) in the air from the fire.

That's one way of getting rid of asbestos i suppose. Too expensive to demolish, and too expensive to refurb. Now it's all done for them.

I didn't know about this pub burning down.
In the 70's my Husband and I would walk through Bidston Village and along to the Corsair to watch the Country and Western group that played there each week. We didn't spend much but always had a good night out.
I'm definitely giving my age away now smile
