I have just been reading the news on the BBCi and I am well pissed off to have read this:

'TERROR RINGLEADER' TO STAY IN UK

The alleged leader of an al-Qaeda plot to bomb targets in north-west England has his appeal against deportation.

A special immigration court said Abid Naseer WAS an al-Qaeda operative-but could not be deported because he faced torture or death back home in Pakistan.

Mr Naseer,23, was one of 10 Pakistani men arrested last April as part of a massive counter-terrorism operation in Liverpool and Manchester.

Student, Ahmad faraz khan, also 23,won his appeal on similar grounds.

WHAT WAS THIS 'SPECIAL'IMMIGRATION COURT THINKING???? I think this is beyond belief and totally sends out the wrong message to al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups.
Tough shit if he faces torture and possible death if he is returned to Pakistan.
Britain has given him a haven from this, yet he still plotted to murder and mame the innocent British public.(who are probably funding his time here)
Did the court think it was stink bombs or water bombs he was going to use?? did it not take into account he is an obvious threat to Britain?? Kick the F@cker out and good riddence!!! and no I'm not a racist.I'm just not scared to say it's time to toughen up,and in cases like this...to hell with human rights!!It makes a mockery out of the justice system and completely insults the victims of the 7/7 London attacks.
I have a right to feel safe walking around in my own country without the threat of being blown up by the likes of this ...!
Lets just hope this new government takes a stronger stand that droopy jaw Brown's did!!(but I doubt it)

Totally agree, I always feel awkward debating these issues. The reason being is that as soon as someone feels they are losing the debate they always play the race card.

As you say if he is tortured then killed so be it.

i think you are just being unfair, he is only going to get killed because he didnt finnish his mission and manage to kill some of us. they must think they done right to let him carry on with his plot so he can return a hero! find the pr*ck and kill him or here is a thought if there is a chance he will be killed if he stayes here what will they do then? is it stil against there human rights then to stay here?

But one of them has already gone back to Pakistan. He is obviously ok as he was talking on the 6 o'clock news.We need to kick this ... out.Even if he does get tortured and killed.
He is not even getting banged up here,he is being placed under some sort of civil restriction.Yet only last week a father and son from Durham was banged up for 'possesing documents useful in acts of terrorism' were is the logic here??

I'm not surprised at this decision one little bit, not with this country's track record, after all we have thousands of Irish terrorists running around free not having served any kind of sentence, we even have them running Stormont.
In the past we have had the Queen affording state visits to Presidents and Prime ministers who were at one time members of terrorist organisations.

God help us,
Come yourself,
Don't send Jesus,
This is no place for children.
