Do Nissan in Wallasey still sell Rover parts, or is it a trip to James Edwards in Chester? I've lost one part - a cam oil seal! Argh.

Motor factors don't tend to sell things like specific seals and bolts.
I had to get a new sump bolt from BMW, same as rotor arms, accelerator cable clips and many other new bits lol.
Didn't know Nissan ever did rover parts!

I assume because it used to be the Rover/MG garage? Did it?... Give them a ring and ask

Yep, the wallasey garage used to be MG Rover. Matty gave me the number of some who specialises in MGR work. I could give you his number, and ring him, see where he would recommend? Matty swears by him, and if I have any problems in future, hell be my first port of call

Windsors were a Rover dealer for decades, there were a couple on the Wirral. They still have parts in as they used to, they had the part I wanted there and then. I could do with that number? I know of a bloke that may be the same one, you pay him 400 quid, you pick him up from the airport, and he fixes your car (in this case, 400 quid for HG), and then take him back!

Xpart in Wallasey is essentially the MG Rover Group official parts supplier. The distributor centre and specilist Autoservice centre are still located at Windsors.
Also try Rimmerbrothers online, they too specialise in MG Rover parts and can supply just about everything from trim to mechanical parts.

I've tried Rimmer Bros before. They were almost laughing as they gave a price on some stuff! Got the stuff from Mazda today, glad to see they still stocking Rover/MG stuff.
