Hello. Update.
Yes its a haemotoma, he's had pain relief injection that will last for four days. Booked in for op on monday, to drain it and put a cannula in.
Am so relieved- he not in pain even b4 the jab but 'uncömfortable'.

Hello. Update.
Yes its a haemotoma, he's had pain relief injection that will last for four days. Booked in for op on monday, to drain it and put a cannula in.
Am so relieved- he not in pain even b4 the jab but 'uncömfortable'.

Does anyone know whether barney will have to wear a lampshade after his op? Am assuming so.
He's asleep/ woozy atm. Must be 'good stuff' that he had.
Told the vet bov the 'hot compresses' but didnt tell him i was awake at 3am rubbing anusol on his ear..lol

Actually, no! Lol. A few years ago i read a beauty tip that the supermodels use- anusol as face cream-it reduces bags beneath the eyes due to the 'reduces swelling' effect of the cream.
Dont know if it works because psychologically i cudnt face puttin stuff on my face thats clearly designed for application on arseholes!

-relieves itching
-reduces discomfort
So ideal at the time for a worried mum/ amateur vet to try+ help the dog!
As it is he's very chilled atm due to his jab.

Barneys gone in for his op. Got to ring at 1pm and should be able to pick him up after 3.30.
Vet nurse said he will 'look messy'. Yikes.
Aww animals are so trusting-just stood there when she give him sedative+ pain relief. Aww, gonna try+ keep myself busy.
