Worth getting gas Mig, I've used gasless and you can never get decent results with it.

Depends how much you are thinking of having to pay?

I do have 2 welders - a stick welder / with brazing attachment and a MIG that does have a gas attachment but I always used the special wire and never bothered with the bottle.

I have no immediate use for them at the moment (having sold the car that I had to keep welding back together) but had not thought of selling because "they may come in useful one day".

Both are in virtually new condition - just store soiled really because it is 8 years since I last used them

Snod

The MIG one was from Machine Mart - I can't remember the details and the welders are in the lock-up away from the house so I can't go look just now. I will have a look tomorrow and PM you.

This is the MIG

http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/p.../dual-purpose-and-inno-gasin-mig-welders

+ there is a brand new 4.5kg spool of coated wire still unopened

http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/r...s-mig-welde/path/mig--tig-welding-wires-

The conventional stick welder (+ carbon rod brazing attachment which is what I have used more than anything else) I have as well is a 140 amp job supplied as an own brand by Middleton Mail Order in Hereford - pretty much like this one :-

http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/clarke-160n-easi-arc-welder/path/diy-arc-welders

As said I had not really intended selling - but can respond to sensible offers

I'm currently welding, but you're free to borrow mine if you don't have one by then.

MM

Still no PM arrived. I just sent one to myself and it arrived OK so it looks like my PM system works, and I do not know if there is some other problem
