Sometimes Police Officers give more than just speeding tickets!

Funny, but dont get it frown

Surely Audi dont think their Mid Range Supercar can compete with Ferraris?

I think that is what they are getting at, or at least that Ferrari may be worried - especially when you look at the performance per pound you get with the audi... think

TBH Id be interested to see which a "billy" could send round a track faster - my money would be on the R8 as its just so girly and driver friendly....

Ferrari for me though wink

Haha thats cool that.

I dont go mad over Ferrari's like some do but i do like them, but im not as big a fan of the R8 as some either. If it where me id buy the R8 and use the saved money on more power. I bet that can be a pretty capable engine in the right hands and a couple bar of boost.

Im not a fan of Supercars to be perfectly honest. I see one in the flesh, I dont swoon over it for hours.

Especially with the R8. I dont understand the appeal of it. Especially after seeing about 15 of them at the entrance of Oulton Park. Just looks like a big TT, another car I dont like.

As for Ferrari, only one of them I like is the F430, becaue of its sound. Never been a fan of older Ferrari engine notes...

Sory, but if I had the money to purchase and run any Audi or a Ferrari, id choose the prancing horse every time.

Owning an Audi is the same as owning a BMW or a Merc, or even a Ford!

Owning a Ferrari isnt just a higher class, its up there in the exosphere...

But they break down and everyone spits at you and hates you and never lets you out. The Police would constantly stop you aswell. Pound for pound theyre an utter rip off. And the Driving experience is easily emulated in cars a quarter of the price. They do have the noise factor but its not the be all and end all.

Of course they have a special sense of occasion and they are engineering masterpieces, just not as special as some think.

I was lucky enough to drive an R8 the other day.
I done a Supercar weekend, and I must say the R8 was so easy to drive. I'd still rather have the Lamborghini Gallardo, even though skin deep they are the same car.
