T-bars tend to suit early beeltes better.
Oil-leak will either be the
1.Centre of engine >> sump nut,(copper washer @ 50p)
2.Either side of engine >> (Rocker gasket @ £1 per side,clip on)
the bigg'un
3.Rear of engine>> Flywheel oil seal @ £8.50. Engine out job and its behind the clutch.
Not a hard job to do as most AVERAGE spanner monkeys can have an engine out in 20 min.

Fair enough lol, i think it is towards the rear of the engine.
I have decided to keep the beetle pretty much standard in the looks department, just going to restore the paint work and replace any chrome that needs replacing.
Someone said to me the the 1303S is a very rare car and is potentially worth quite a bit of money in decent condition?
I need to tighten up the steering aswell, there is quite a bit of play in it.

A spoiler i bought from ebay, thinking it might of been a boot spoiler, but actually looks as though it goes on the roof. that looks like a duck-tail spoiler (goes on the tailgate),
Its a smaller version of the 911-rep whaletail.
The '03s is getting rare, as they had front disc brakes and the 5.5j GT rims , non-'S' had 4.5j rims.
Many had scirocco/golf gti front seats custom fit.
