Due to new rules coming in for the 2009 season, F1 cars will begin to look similar to the picture below. This is BMWs ofering, and I have to say, I like it. The cars actually have rear wings again, and its kind of a throw back to Older Series...98/00 seasons. What do you think?

Well, apart from the angle that the picture is taken from.. the main difference is the size of the Rear Wing has Increased greatly...
Makes the overall car look smaller

If the Petronas input is anything like it was for the motorbikes, they are doomed

I dont know why but to me that looks ridiculous. It just doesnt look right at all. Loving the Slicks though. I think the regulations are heading more for mechanical grip as opposed to the current areodynamic grip. Should make wet races even more interesting.
I HATE cars.

Not just the wet races, when you're looking at more mechanical grip and slick tyres there's much more stress on driver ability than on the constructors championship always winning the GP. I have to admit I'm really looking forward to the season next year, not least of which as the missus and I have got tickets to both Spa and Silverstone

Carpe diem.

Photos for sure. We're actually supposed to be heading over to Frankfurt as well, so I'm sure if the Nurburgring is on the way she'll want to go. We're not driving though so we may rent a car for that She's more of a petrol head than I am lol.

Aww man, you miss half the experience by not driving.
One of the best things Ive done in recent years is driving round europe with my mate...stopping off at the Nordschleife, then heading to Spa to work on Race Cars. The roads there are superb...and my favourite country out of the lot??
Germany by far...so beautiful, roads are immense, and the small villages ridiculously picturesque.
