It's been a very emotional day today, some personal reasons and some because of News
It started with the coverage of the Armistice Day Ceremony - watching the gentleman who wanted to place his own wreath made me weep, as did seeing the lads out in Afghanistan and the Ceremony in Ypres.
Then came the News
report about the 17mth old boy and his injuries at the hands of his "incubator" - I can't call her his mother as no mother could sit back whilst that happened to her son - her boyfriend and the lodger!!
After that, came the 89 yr old man who was beaten by burglars, and his disabled wife who was found cowering and in shock and the couple in Lancashire who were found dead on their 55th wedding anniversary, not to mention the "man" who kicked his dog half to death in a lift!
I knew there was a reason I stopped watching the News
I know of several people who have been rather emotional today, and just wonder if anyone else is the same. Is it because of all the terrible things we are being exposed to or is it something in the air?
