it could well be the machine..? totally... we have changed machines like 3 times in the past 3 years tho and still get the same smell in the machines eventually... sometimes gets really pungeant(sp?) ! trid running a boil wash wit soda crystals on regular basis too and hat has never sorted it so could be anythin

I blame the machine, not the mother Reguardless of age, i still blame craigs drunken randy hornyness, have you met him ? when sobre he's like a sex pest, that around men too  It's hormones - they are the bane of every young adult's life (what the hell is my excuse I ask myself)

Its definately the T-Shirt, it smelt funny when I put it on, and recently, a lot of my t-shirts have.

Does mum's washing machine have a separate drawer in which she puts detergent powder/ liquid on one compartment and fabric softener in another?
She may use "tablets" rather than powder/ liquid in a drawer but does she still use fabric softener in the drawer?
I have a Hoover washing machine and it has a drawer like that
