i have a 2001 astra van 1.7dti absolutly mint came out of the shop put the key in dash lights came on as usual turned the key again and nothing happend no noises or nothing it will bump start just nothing happens off the key. any ideas?

starter motors died mate, you can take it to a garage to change and they will pull you pants down, go to wirral spares, well cheap, you can prob do it your self with the right tools and a haynes !

If there is no noise at all, it's usually something electrical... is all the wiring correct and the earth strap okay?

thanks for the help i had a feeling it was electrical and the saying the starter motor has died sounds right il get it checked out tmrw thanks again
