The filler is generally on the opposide side of the exhaust so any filler neck leaks dont go near the hot exhaust...

The filler is generally on the opposide side of the exhaust so any filler neck leaks dont go near the hot exhaust... good point chew, but how many people take note of what side their exhaust is on !

I dunno......  ....but, as posted in my original post  , the pic on your fuel gauge may be correct on my BMW, but on the Nissan and Honda its wrong - if I went off what the gauge shows, Id be on the wrong side of the pump.... but .......... all 3 have the filler cap on the opposite side to the exhaust
