Driving to work this morning on the M56, I hear a loud crack, as if a large stone hit the screen.

Due to all the salt and crap on the roads, I cleaned the screen to check there wasnt a chip, or crack, but there was nothing obvious.

Got to work, and when I got out of the car, and walked round to to the office, I noticed the front O/S indicator looked a bit more clear than usual. On closer inspection, it seems the crack was a stone hitting the indicator lense, which has smashed 1/2 the plastic lense off it mad

....still, I guess its going to be cheaper to replace than the headlight next to it or the screen...

Gutted fella, it will be easier then the windscreen I suppose thats a plus.

I got a stone chip on me windscreen driving home from Hereford once, was gonna phone Auto Windscreens to get it repaired there and then, but didnt, and the damn thing progressed into a crack before I had gotten home.

It didnt bother me too much when I got home, as just around the corner from my house, some woman pulled out of a junction without looking right and wrote me car off haha!
