Went and took some more photo's today, still in the same condition, and more to the point, although the council used concrete, in their infinate wisdom, they decided not to backfill the entrance - cost cutting maybe - so the tunnels are still well and truely open lol.

Photos are a bit shit as they were on the phone and not me camera.

If anyone has a camera, to get over to the Tunnels Entrance
today ive just had a call from Hoseman saying that the council are there heavy handed.

Loads of equipment, Fire Brigade, Incident Unit, and more.
Looks like the Tunnels will either be getting a face lift
of closed for good this time.

I would be there, but have a delivery coming today

Its all happening today.

Just been over there, the Fire Brigade and Incident Unit have now gone only the council blocking up the entrance now.

I have some pictures.
Its more steel and a hell of a lot of concrete.
I think they may have sealed it properly now, but will
have to see the finished result.

Will try and get pictures up later,
pc is in bits so i'm a little stuck.

Bunked off to "work at home" this afternoon and saw the council van - it's very sad but thanks you guys for recording what's under there for us.

I guess Tux is sealed under Bidston Hill forever now!

I guess unless the secret entrance in the garden is found or what was behind that door is ever discovered it could be!
