Helen Mirren Alert!

FILM: The Madness of King George
On: Film4 Plus 1 (445)
Date: Thursday 13th September 2007 (2 hours left)
Time: 00:00 to 02:05 (2 hours and 5 minutes long)

His Majesty was all powerful and all knowing. But he wasn't quite all there. Alan Bennett's magnificent Oscar, BAFTA and Cannes Film Festival award-winning film stars Nigel Hawthorne as King George III, a vibrant and robust, if eccentric, leader accompanied by his wife and devoted partner Queen Charlotte and their children - all 15 of them - including the Prince of Wales and the Duke of York. Almost 30 years into his reign, the King begins to act in a bizarre fashion, spewing obscenities, attacking his wife's ladies-in-waiting and interrupting a royal concert to demonstrate his own supposed mastery of the keyboards. As his condition worsens, learned medical men attempt to cure him while a corrupt Parliament plots with the Prince of Wales to have him declared mad...
(Subtitles, 1994, PG, 4 Star)

Director: Nicholas Hytner
Starring: Nigel Hawthorne, Helen Mirren, Ian Holm, Rupert Graves, Amanda Donohoe, Rupert Everett

Just noticed, theres a Doctor Who night on UK Gold, watching it on +1 now, its series 1 (depending on how you look at it, it can be classed as series 27), with Christopher Eccleston playing the Doctor.

Also, anyone with Sky, may want to check out Football First on Sky Sports 1 from 8pm onwards.

From 10pm onwards, they have extended highlights of every Premier League game played today, all available intereactively via the red button. You choose the game you want to watch.

Reason I am pointing this out, is because Sky Sports is free to all Sky subscribers at the moment.
