Train services have returned to normal in Liverpool after a five-week closure to renew tracks under the city centre.
The work is the third phase of a £15m programme by Network Rail, affecting services to and from the Wirral.
Track between James Street and Moorfield has been replaced as part of the improvements.
Liverpool's underground system is about 4.5 miles (7.2km) long and consists of one single-track tunnel that goes under the River Mersey.
The underground section runs from Conway Park and Hamilton Square. Now Mark can stop bitching about it lol! BBC News Report

Woo hoo! No more walking from James Street to Moorfields to get on the Northern Line! Although, I quite enjoyed that short walk and managed to pick up the Metro on my way. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the massively long and steep uphill/downhill walk from street level at James street to Platform level
