Chance has come up to buy in a few of these kits, for £120 i will deliver them to your door.

http://www.hids4u.co.uk/product_details.asp?id=332

You have my word that they really do work and are NOT the same as buying the philips blue vision bulbs or ring ince blue rubbish from halfords.

By the way, the bummper does not need removing to fit them, if you can fit a normal bulb then you should be able to fit these.

If you want a set, give me an email on [email protected] asap as 8 of my mates want them already and i will sort you out.

Will want payment either through paypal or cheque etc before i arange shipment ss im not being left with a load of these kits because people have told me they want them and changed their minds.

They do look excellent, and make a great difference to visibility in the dark.

I've heard horror stories of these cheap conversion kits, aparently they draw lots of current and need uprated wiring or it'll just burn the cabling? Does this brand have a good reputuation in that respect?

It certainly does have a good reputation.

The Sunday Times have reviewed them too.

£210 is the RRP of these. Buy through myself on ebay or let me know outside of ebay, it doesnt really matter which, if you are interested.

im sure this has been mentioned somewhere recently but what do the numbers mean. Are the higher numbers brighter? or just whiter? and are the lower numbers duller? or just more colourful?

May be worth popping them on www.escortevolution.co.uk/forums too mate

fitting;

1. First and foremost disconnect the car battery terminal.
2. Remove the factory light bulbs
3. Replace with XLS xenon bulbs. (If your vehicle has a dust cap, please replace with something equivalent to ensure a good seal.)

*If the bulbs are dirty, use rubbing alcohol to clean the bulbs; do not immerse it in any liquid.

4. Find a mounting location for the ballast.

* Do not drill holes on the box.
* Mount away from moving components, such as A/C or power steering pump.
* Mount to a solid location.
* Mount to a good ventilation location (such as under the headlight for some vehicles.)
* Some vehicles require headlight and bumper to be removed during installation.
* Allow the necessary distance for the base connector to reach the bulb.

5. Plug ballast adaptor to the xenon bulbs; make sure the bulbs are secured tightly and dust cover cap is properly enclosed.

6. Run wiring harness in the engine bay.

* Avoid placing harness next to or close to liquids and moving parts.
* Use zip ties to secure the wiring harness.

7. Reconnect the car battery cables and make sure all components are secured.

8. Turn light switch on and enjoy your brand new Xenon headlights. Allow the light to be on for 10 minutes, this is just a simple burn in procedure.

There was actually an artical about the legality of HID kits in autoexpress magazine the other week, claiming it is illegal to retro fit the HID bulbs to cars not originally supplied with the bulbs.

New cars have headlight washers (keep quality of beam pattern), and self leveling beams, which the older cars dont have....

Bit of a grey area, so you pays you money and takes your chance frown
