1. when did i say you must vote for tony's car?
2. Who said its a slagging match, I posted a b4 and after pic and got told it shouldnt win due to a number of reasons, being it only had a respray.
3. If it only had a full respray then why hasnt the person who has mentioned it done it to theirs.
4.When did I say I care about the looks of the mk2 and mk3?
5. You say every1 has their oppinions, well I am just voicing mine if thats okay.
p.s In my oppinion I feel people who dont vote him are jealous (Is that better interperated for you)

Why are they Jealous though? Id personally rather have your Jag or Lawton's Corsa then a Mk2 Rover of any description, so I cant say that my vote is through Jealousy.

The person I have voted for is a person I think has Cruisewirral Car Of The Year not the last few weeks.

I have seen and red the progress of loads of cars like Tupac's 200SX, Lawtons Corsa, Joes Beemer, your Hotrod etc, throughout the year I have not seen or red much at all about Tony's Rover, and as nice or as good as it may be (I dont know), I fail to see how not voting for his car is through jealousy.

Remember Rhys this isnt a Car Of The Year award for a national magazine, where you just pick from photo's, this is an award for Cruisewirral, where we are able to watch the progress of peoples cars from one day to the next. My vote is based on this, and there were a lot of close contenders because I have seen so many people put so much effort into thier cars over the year, I have not seen Tony's threads about the progress of his car or how much effort he has put in...

As said, people vote on their own opinions. My vote has gone to the car i think is the best overall car of those nominated,that means the car i'd most want to call my own, sure others may be worth more and less and go faster and slower and stuff but i just dont like those cars as much as the one ive chosen.And THATS what i think people are doing with their vote aswell.

And if stu bennets mini was in this i'd have chosen it,finished or not finished,cos i'd LOVE that car outside my house

Everyone here has done the best they can to there car and its each to there own init!

i can see where everyone is coming from but im not taking sides, its a friendly competition that is based on peoples opinion of each others cars. being 100% honest im not expecting to get any votes coz i havnt been to any meets for months and i havnt posted pics of my newest mods for ages but im just entering because im proud of my car and what ive done to it in less than a year.

In all honest I could enter this competition with my nans wheels chair and still win by miles, at least its been modified with graphics ha ha ha

cheers scoop! been sitting back reading through this thread, it still seem you too are not sorted. let get a boxing match going! lol i wasn't here for last year but this years looks alright, didn't enter mine for a number of reasons (mainly because its not finished, and i don't see the point in winning something for a car which only 1-2 people off this forum have seen and even then it looked different to what it looks now!) why bother posting comments about people being jealous and what not lets just appreciate (spelling) whats on offer and keep who we choose as our car of the year private?

matty as u said this is car of the year not "car who ive seen most this year" cos to be honest how many times have you been out? or as lawton seems to think it is "car i voted for u last year i get ur vote this year"

and as for lawtons little slaggin off about havin 3 engines! im sure if i had no power at all id be on my first! sports cars are made to be drivin hard and anythin under heavy load will surely give in as am sure scooby will tell u who im sure had less miles on his car than mine and managed to go through engines aswell! and i am talkin about sport cars not cars with sport badges!

i dont mind paying for things on my car, upgrading them and paying for repairs, especially learning how to do it all myself cos i do try and do most of the work no matter what it is myself! at the end of the day i think a car is like a woman " it may be expensive, it may be a lot of work, but as long as it puts a smile on my face when im inside it its worth the effort!

Since the end of April... every single meet bar the last one when I was ill.....
