I hear on good authority that cadbury's are taking on security guards in august or something like that and its Vgood wage, i think its about £8.50 an hour.

Ring up and make some enquiries matey, get yourself in there

Jim, your best off trying to get in to a private company who take on security guards "in-house" as this is the only way you will get a higher wage,


This is because the industry is so competitive if you charge a high rate you will no doubt be undercut by 3-4 or other companies.


Try somewhere like Airbus or a national security company like Chubb who are able to charge more per hour so therefore pay a higher wage.

I hear the cookiefactory pay about £5 something an hour

Ive worked for Group4 for 8 years and have just Tupee'd over to Anchor.
Both companies are taking people on bigtime.

Group4securicor do all the Jobcentres @£6.50ph

I supervisor a site in Lpool @£6.59ph(+ as much internet time as I can eat)

look in asda or tesco's there rate of pay if quite good.
i was taking to someone the other day and 'airbus' in wales are looking for a secruity graud. i know it aint wirral, but its only in queenferry near mackro,
which only takes about half n hr.
