where they 210 or 215. Ive never heard of square numbers bein used on cars. Always seem to be 165-175-185-195-205 etc etc. Id like to know this info too. Also like to know what is the lowest profile on a 195 wide 15 inch rim.

Thats right Scoop, tyre sizes go up in 195-205-215-225-235 and so on...
The lowest profile on a 195-15 is a 45 profile (195/45-15)

Karl, the tyre will physically fit onto the wheel but it will be slightly wider and slightly higher that the 205.
This will also alter your "Rolling Road Diameter" therefore giving your speedo incorrect readings.
Scoop, 205/50-15 is the lowest profile available in a 205-15"

Cheers scoob, ur a fountain of knowledge. Rolling road diameter does not bother me, I'd actually like a lower diameter thus slightler (incy wincy) faster acceleration. First things first though i need my 15s

Karl, don't forget that if you're changing the tyre size you need the same size on each end of an axle to stay legal, ie: both front ones must be the same size and both rear ones must be the same size.

Fronts can be bigger but looks kinda Stupid in my opinion. As long as both tyres are the same size on each individual axle.
