hey guys someone told me that my corsas centre box can be removed to make the car sound louder, was jus wonderin coz the cars got a catalitic converter how this would affect the car

hi, ive got my centre box removed on my corsa and so has corsajohn, the centre box can be removed and will make it louder, as the centre box is after the cat, it wont affect the cat in any way

Simple as mate. U can get the centre box removed for a very modest fee and this just gives you a "straight thru" mid section. Increases the noise of the exhaust and on high power cars you would also see a power increase. Wont to much for corsas but the gasses will flow faster and the silencing effect that the mid box gives will be removed thus making your car louder.Go for a de-cat too for the ultimate in loudness if thats your thing

It can be too loud though. Try driving to London and back in heavy traffic as well. Take some paracetamol.
