In my 1998 Escort Si when i put the windows up in the front they are coming up at an angle and dont close all the way unless i give them a push at the same time. I really want this sorted for the summer!! Anyone have any ideas? I took the door cards off but didnt go any further, i couldn't see what the problem was from there, anybody have any idea??

The rubber in the regulator is probably gone out of position. It's the metal frame the window follows. Also, it might not be clipped into the window raiser, stick your hand in and have a fiddle about.

The rubber around the window might be tight at one end, so making the window go at an angle. you could try cylica spray, It worked on mine.

The rubber around the window has dissapeared on one side.....the side that it tilts towards.....
Is this easy to change?

Theres your problem then, the rubber is fairly easy to change.
Also check the lower part of the window frame fits snug against the glass as this can be adjusted by a retaining screw.
