What are your views on these?
I've seen an incresing number of non imported cars, i.e. Punto's, Corsa's, Fiesta's, etc going round with the square styled front reg plate which come on most imported cars, i.e, Evo's
Personally I find them pointless and dont see them making the car looking any better or more desirable

depends on the style of the bumper be it standard or aftermarket, if its a standard front bumper with a numberplate recess sized to the size of a uk spec number plate then they look terrible with a square plate that doesnt fill the recess, same goes for them numberplates that are cut out around the letters  im personally not a fan of the chrome plate surrounds myself but thats just me.

Theres a square one on my Skyline.
If I wanted to change it to a normal one then I wouldn't be able to because it wouldn't fit. I would have to go for one of them illegal smaller plates to fit in the middle of the bumper but i've got no preference really. I wouldn't say they look any better or worse.

Ad, The smaller plates are legal on imports as the area on the bumper to mount it is much smaller. Check the DVLA site matey
