No Matey, Standard engine internals <img border="0" alt="[are u mad]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions050.gif" />
Lets explain a little, My car runs a Flat 4 Boxer Engine which means its a bit like a " V " four engine but 2 cylinders run in one direction and the other 2 cylinders hence the name "Flat Four"
The engine design is very very robust as it runs Forged Pistons as standard and the standard Cam's are so finely tuned its pointless changing them as it does not give you any performance gains at all.....
I am half expecting to "Melt" this engine also <img border="0" alt="[cwcool]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions049.gif" /> Due to the fact i am running 400 BHP now with all the engine mods and Nitrous Oxide. **** happens.............
I change the engine oil and oil filter every 3,000 miles using Mobil 1 and also running Slick 50 for maximum protection.
The transmission is the weakest point of the car right now with the extra power gains so when i run the quarter mile at U.S.C. (Santa Pod) i might need a push as i am really expecting to blow the gearbox or snap a driveshaft <img border="0" alt=" " title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions051.gif" /> Thats why i am taking the Impreza on my Car Trailer just incase because if i do blow somethink up i will still be able to get back home with it <img border="0" alt="" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions038.gif" />

i just thught you might have balanced the engine new rods or sumthing ps it's the boxer that explains you engine not the flat four as your pistons punch out from the block in diferent direction's hence boxer

I have just had my Nitrous Oxide refilled and Up-graded to 100 shot, This means i get a power increase of an extra 100 bhp when i activate the Nitrous <img border="0" alt="[are u mad]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions050.gif" />
I am quite used to power and performance but i tell you this, What a weapon this is now <img border="0" alt="[smokin]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions036.gif" />
Nearly ready for U.S.C. Now, Personally i carnt wait to see the Quarter mile times, I will be a happy chappy if i can get in the 11 seconds <img border="0" alt="" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions038.gif" /> Not quite sure how realistic that is right now but time will tell i guess <img border="0" alt="[are u mad]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions050.gif" />

Scooby, what clutch do you run? I had a friend with a proven 335bhp STi, he had an uprated AP clutch with struggled with that power  Have you run a standing 1/4 in it yet? What sorta times is it doing at 400bhp - high 11's?

Hi Stranger, Long time no see 
I am running a stock clutch right now but not for much longer as it carnt cope with the power gains and might even give up at USC ????
I have been researching the market for a good performance clutch but havnt found one as yet that i would be happy with.
Last quarter mile i done was 13.84 before superchipped and before Nitrous Oxide. Really hoping to get into the high 11's though.

Spend good money on a clutch though mate, cant see his being a paddle, just an uprated item. I guess the way the power is delivered with the Nitrous isnt to bad on the clutch though, as you are moving when that extra power kicks in. Lol, Im already starting to find that std clutches on 4x4s wont take much abuse - currently looking for a twin plate for mine after some slight slippage
