I can understand why they want to hold a vigil, but they all knew they were not allowed to, and still did it anyway. This new narrative, just because it is a met officer being charged, let's turn it against the police, and let's sack Dick if she doesn't resign. There is a lot of women saying we need to take back control of our streets to feel safe. How will this make any difference to the perpetrators of these crimes? I'd say none.
This Couzens bloke was no ordinary met officer, if it was him, he is a very dangerous man. He was a highly trained armed guard to many powerful people and diplomats visiting high profile buildings in London.
'Couzens served in the Met's Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command. The armed unit is responsible for guarding the Parliamentary estate, including Downing Street and the Palace of Westminster, as well as embassies in London.
