7 years to the day later... I'm a little late, but does anyone know anything about this monument to Annie Gardiner?

The Memorial to Annie Gardner on Blakeley Road by the double bend near Raby Mere, “In Memory of Annie Gardner 1907”. Annie’s husband John Astley Gardner was a produce merchant and died later in 1913, they lived in a house called “Honiston” on Raby Drive. The house in the photo is a recent view of the ‘Honister’ on Raby Drive.

A sandstone monument engraved with the words In Memory of Annie Gardner. There may have been a date (19??) but this has worn away. Two sides have water fountain basins and spouts but there is no water flowing. The monument stands on the westerly side of the sharp bend in Blakeley Road, Raby, near to Raby Hall.

RECORD OF BURIALS AT ALL SAINTS CHURCH - THORNTON HOUGH
https://www.allsaintsth.org.uk/content/pages/documents/1538333297.pdf
She is on page 13, died 27 Aug 1907.

Maybe John Astley Gardner put it there as a memorial to his wife.
