Dame Vera Lynn has died, sad but she had a good life and long one 103 , good time to check out I think no more worries about C-19 , R.I.P.

RIP Vera, another part of our history gone, got her cd, played it on VE day will have a listen this afternoon, they say we live in the past, but I think its just a retreat for memories.

When I hear her sing it always takes me back to sitting in air raid shelters singing her songs as loud as we could to try and drown out the sound of bombs falling and the ack ack blazing away. Very nostalgic. R.I.P Vera.
