The owner will activate the community find on his app when he realises he has lost his keys, your phone having the app and being near his tile will find it and reply back to tile, owner receives an email, opens his tile app and sees where your phone reported the tile to be.
From there on I'm not sure, I guess he goes to your location and finds the general position of the tile using the app then sets off the alarm?
So if you hear the alarm, go outside your door and look for someone?
But sods law says he's locked his phone inside his car and is totally snookered.
Edit: thinking about it I might be mixing systems, tile might not have an alarm so expect a knock on the door.

Iβve had the battery out, and you can change them, the batteries good and bleeps when pressed ππ€ Some you can replace the battery on, others you can't. They have a few varieties. Does the app give any kind of indication that it has synced/reported the tile at all?

Does the app give any kind of indication that it has synced/reported the tile at all? I don't think they do, the idea is if you walk past somewhere and the app "finds" the keys, the only person that knows this is the tile owner. There are arguments both ways on this but you would expect the lost person to be able to contact the found person if they choose. I guess there could be problems of suspicion if the keys still can be found.

It's a shame you don't even get a notification that it has worked. It doesn't have to give details, but just some kind of "tile found and reported" type message would be handy, just so you know it's doing its job.
I guess you just wait for the knock at the door.
